Typical "pintes"
Chardonne
Le Café Au Bon Vin
In the typical setting of a pinte, (a welcoming inn, where you can have local wine and a meal), the establishment offers many Vaudois specialities such as malakoffs and pork products. The clientele can choose from a variety of wines by several local winemakers. The establishment is undoubtedly one of the last pintes to double as a butchery (production and smoking on the premises).
Closed on Sundays.
Vevey
Le Café des Trois Sifflets
Respected and appreciated, this diner offers a rich and varied menu, ranging from boned perch to red meats and from fondue to raclette a-plenty. Complete with a wine cellar, it is often the meeting-place of the Grape Harvest Festival’s Cent-Suisses.
